On the occasion of Art City Bologna 2025 and Arte Fiera, the Library of the Federico Zeri Foundation hosts "New Mixage Up“, the installation of Flavio Favelli, open to visitors until March 28. The work, inaugurated on January 16, consists of two tall wooden shelves, which interact with the existing ones and hold 216 bottles of liquor collected by the artist over the years.
For our studio, which designed and curated the library's installation in 2006, this is a special occasion: to observe, almost twenty years later, the adaptability of this historic space—the novices' dormitory of the Convent of Santa Cristina, today transformed into a place of study and research, but also a venue for conferences and temporary exhibitions. This evening, a special evening to visit the installation in the presence of the artist.
