Roman Walks: Micro-Architectures for Accessibility
Architecture and inclusivity: new projects for heritage accessibility. Our special feature is expanding on the Architecture Journal with a new contribution dedicated to accessibility to historical heritage. In the article "Roman Walks. Micro-architectures for Accessibility," Alessandro Brunelli analyzes several recent projects—from the Domus Aurea to the Basilica of Maxentius, and the Pantheon—designed by Stefano Boeri, Alvisi Kirimoto, and STARTT, in which accessibility becomes an integral part of the monument's design.
